Yoga Practice
One of the best Elements of yoga
is the way it unites all those who practice with themselves, one another the
earth we live on the divine.
One morning on a public beach in
Brazil
the wonderful woman silently doing stretches and free yoga poses on the sand,
armed with just her bikini handstands free music player. In order to start
reducing the mental we music first remove some of our physical clutter. Find a
space at home or at work that you can keep relatively clean and clear of
furniture. Turn off your phone and email notification and if possible place
electronic device other room.
Manlike was fortunate enough to
capture her 30 minute sensual physical routine. Which was punctuated
occasionally with poses like king pigeon baby crow and tripod headstand in a
performance built one equal parts inward focus and outward abandon. In a world
where many of us indulge the ego it is so important that yoga and our practice
of yoga do not fall into the traps of attachment. Setting up a simple altar
with a few practice objects and photos lighting a candle or chanting a simple
mantra to start your meditation are ways to transform a day habit into a
treasured part of day. you may be as
guilty of this as I am my practice my style my journey my space these are all
things I have watched my self say over
the years and haven't really given it to much thought.
You can make your consecration
as long or as short as you like say it internally or speak it out loud if you
are alone and when you are finished take a few breaths and cultivate the
feeling of gratitude .It really is as simple as that.
There is nothing to lose but a
few minutes from your pranayama practice and meditation practice so give it a
go. This may help to you cultivate a more connected feeling to your practice
surrounding and even divine.
