Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan born 2 November 1965 also known as SRK is an Indian film actor, producer and television personality. Referred to in the media as the Badshah of Bollywood King of Bollywood or King Khan.
Khan grew up in the Rajendra Nagar neighborhood of Delhi. His family belongs to Muslim Family that was living in New Delhi. Khan was to Muslim parents of Pathan descent in New Delhi India. His father Taj Mohammed Khan was an Indian independence activist from Peshawar British India. According to Khan his paternal grandfather was originally from Afghanistan. His mother Lateef Fatima was the adopted daughter of Major General Shah Nawaz Khan of the Janjua Rajpot clan who served as a General in the Indian National Army of Subash Chandra Bose. His parents were married in 1959.

Khan's father came to New Delhi from Qissa Khawani Bazaar in Peshawar before the partition of India while his mother's family came from Rawalpindi British India Khan has an elder sister named Shahnaz Lalarukh born in 1960. His father died of cancer in 1981 and his mother died in 1991 from complications of diabetes after the death of their parents his older sister Shahnaz Lalarukh fell into a depressed state and Khan took on the responsibility of caring for her.Shahnaz continues to live with her brother and his family in their Mumbai mansion. SRK Family resides in the bungalow. Khan began his career with appearances in several television series in the late 1980 also known as SRK is an Indian film actor producer and television personality. 

Khan started out his career by appearing in several television serials during 1988-1990. As of 2015 Khan is co chairman of the motion picture production company Red Chillies Entertainment and its subsidiaries and is the co-owner of the Indian Premier League cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders.After the death of his parents Khan moved to Mumbai in 1991 prior to his successful Bollywood career. In that same year before any of his films were released he married Gauri Chibber a Hindu in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony on 25 October 1991 after a six year courtship.Gauri Khan is an Indian film producer and interior designer She is the co-owner of the film production and distribution company Red Chillies Entertainment along with her husband the Bollywood superstar SRK. She met SRK in 1984.SRK and Gauri have one of the strongest marriages in Bollywood. Together for 25 years now.They have 3 children son Aryan Khan was born 12 November 1997 daughter Suhana Khan was born 22 May 2000 and son AbRam Khan 27 May 2013 who was born through a surrogate mother. According to Khan while he strongly believes in Allah and Islam he also values his wife's religion. At home his children follow both religions with the Quran being situated next to the Hindu deities.Khan is one of the most decorated Bollywood actors. He has received 14 Filmfare Awards from 30 nominations and special awards. He has been described as one of the most successful film stars in the world.
