Kareena Kapoor


 Kareena Kapoor was born on 21 September 1980 to Randhir Kapoor and Babita. Kareena Kapoor nicknamed Bebo is the younger daughter of Randhir Kapoor and Babita her elder sister Karisma is also an actress. In 2006 Kapoor appeared in three films. She is born in a family that have been actors for generations including her paternal great grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor her grandfather Raj Kapoor her paternal uncles Shammi’ Shashi’ Rishi’ and Rajiv as well as aunt Neetu Singh’ Jennifer Kendall the wives of Rishi and Shashi respectively. On her maternal side her grandfather Hari Shivdasani and aunt Sadhana have been actors in their own rights. As a child she studied in Jamnabai Narsee School in Juhu Bombay and thereafter was enrolled in Dehra Dun's prestigious Welham Girls' Boarding School. Then she re located to Harvard for approximately 4 months to take a course in information technology and microcomputers. Upon her return to India she joined the Government Law College in Church gate Bombay but left it after one year to enroll in the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting School. Kapoor attended Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai before progressing to Welham Girls Boarding School in Dehradun. Upon graduating from the boarding school she studied commerce for two years at Mithibai College in Vile Parle Mumbai. She then registered for a three month summer course in microcomputers at Harvard University in the United States. She later enrolled at the Government Law College in Church gate. After studying law for one year she left the law and started her journey to become an actress. From 2004 to 2007 heart throb Shahid Kapoor was Kapoor’s constant arm candy. They broke up in 2007 during the making of their hit romance Jab We Met. Interestingly Jab we met released after their break up remains one of their biggest blockbusters. It’s believed she turned vegetarian in 2006 just like her former boyfriend Shahid Kapoor. But she didn’t make the lifestyle change to impress her squeeze but to fit into clothes. In 2008 Kapoor began the size zero trends in Bollywood. Even at her thinnest 45kg she was not waif like but showcased her new found body in skimpy outfits in Tashan. She started dating Saif Ali Khan in 2007 soon after she officially broke up with her long time boyfriend Shahid Kapoor. They are billed as Bollywood’s answer to Brangelina and are called Saifeena. It’s a term that they both dislike. On 16 October 2012 Kapoor married actor Saif Ali Khan in a private ceremony in Bandra Mumbai and a reception was later held at The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel and the Lutyens Bungalow Zone in Mumbai and Delhi respectively. Kareena Kapoor got married to the famous Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and is leading a pleasant life. They tied the knot in 16 October 2012 after 5 years of courtship. The couple is blessed with a baby boy named Taimur Ali Khan on December 20, 2016.
