Spray the outer edge of dough with cooking spray. Cover with a plate. Place in warm area and allow rising for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Sauce’ Combine ingredients and let sit for 2 hour. For Each Nine Inch Pizza Preheat oven to 575 degrees F Spoon 2/3 cup sauce on dough and spread to within 1 of edge. Shredded mozzarella cheese on sauce. Place toppings of your choice in this order Pepperoni or Ham Vegetables Meats cooked ground sausage or beef Top with 3 Oz. mozzarella cheese Cook until cheese is bubbling and outer crust is brown. Pizza is prepared fresh frozen and as portion size slices or pieces. Methods have been developed to overcome challenges such as preventing the sauce from combining with the dough and producing a crust that can be frozen and reheated without becoming rigid. There are frozen pizzas with raw ingredients and self rising crusts. Another form of uncooked pizza is available from take and bake pizzerias. This pizza is assembled in the store then sold to customers to bake in their own ovens. Some grocery stores sell fresh dough along with sauce and basic ingredients to complete at home before baking in an oven. Pan dough ingredients. Enriched bleached wheat flour bleached flour malted barley flour niacin ferrous. sulfate thiamin mononitrate riboflavin folic acid water yeast salt sugar soybean or cottonseed oil whey may contain 3% or less of enzymes or datem vital wheat

Sauce ingredients: Tomato paste water salt spices garlic powder and citric acid the dough for the pan pizza from pizza hut is made fresh in each store every day and when the day’s over any leftovers are tossed out. The secret to perfect pan pizza is pressing the dough into well oiled pan Pizza Hut uses soybean oil then the pan is covered and the dough rises in a heated cabinet for 50 to 70 minutes. When the dough is topped the edge is sprayed with a butter flavored food release and the pie is baked at 600 degrees F until perfectly browned on top. You can use a 10 inch 13 inch or 16 inch deep dish pizza pan or cake pan for this recipe and you’ll want to preheat your oven with a pizza stone in it to simulate the type of oven used at the chain. The hot ceramic surface of the pizza stone will cause the oil in the pan to cook the bottom of the dough so that it’s brown and crispy like an authentic pan pizza crust should be. I tried making the dough with cake flour all purpose flour superfine flour bread flour and many combinations of these different flours which all contain varying amounts of gluten. I even tried rising the dough slowly in the refrigerator for various lengths of time as long as up to four days. But after a month of testing and about 40 pan pizzas later I found the best dough to be straight bread flour and to let the dough rise at room temperature. I did find that if you let the dough rest for at least 5 hours before the final rise in the pizza pan you will get the best texture with the perfect chewy bite to it.
